Lately I've been diving into the world of wood working and into the world of Home Automation. My latest project is related to making a console table and integrating cheap LED strips that will interface with my home automation system.

I got the schematics and idea for the wood working from here and have been doing the home automation segment live. I will link the code once it's in a production ready state.

Roughing out the design + getting the materials.

Started connecting the Frame. 

Base Complete! 

Added the top of the table to the base.

Rough out of LED - looking at length, power, size, location. 

Soldered, Sanded, and looking pretty.

To do: Clean up code & integrate with google home, Stain table, do the corner of the tables (Decorative bolts, the X's on the side) , Cable management, Different moods + Color themes based on moods.
